Rasulullah (saw) said;

“Had there been a Nabi to come after me it would have been umar”

Name: Umar

Title: Al-Farooq and Abu Hafs

Birth: 13 years after Rasulullah (saw)

Parents: His Father’s name was Khattaab and his mother’s name was Khatma.

Virtues: He fought at the side of Nabi (saw) in every nettle. He was joined with Utbah bin maalik in the Maalik in the Mu-aakhaat (brotherhood). In the battle of Tabuk, he spent half his wealth in the path of Allah Taala. He was the second leader of the Muslims after the demise of Rasulullah (saw). His khilaafat lasted for 10 years, 6 months and 5 days. He was so simple that once 17 patches were counted on his kurta. He introduced the Islamic calendar. Two thirds of the world was conquered during his khilaafat. He was martyred by a slave, Abu Lulu. Demise: 1 Muharram 24 A.H. at the age of 63 and is buried next to Rasulullah (saw)
