Jamia Masjid

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The Master of the day of judgment. You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path. The path of those You have bestowed favors on them; not of those who earned (Your) wrath on themselves nor of those who go astray.

Background history

By the grace of Allah, Jamia masjid and Usmania education centre was established in 2004. The Mosque buildings were purchased through generous and contributions by the Muslim community and through the help of Haji Khalid Hussain may Allah (swa) have mercy on him. A large hall was converted into a Congregational prayer room for men.

To teach the Quran, Jamia Masjid became the venue for Quranic classes for both girls and boys. The hall next to it was later developed to accommodate women’s prayer facilities and Quranic classes.
