Components of an Islamic Marriage

There are Five component in an Islamic Marriage: 1. Consent of the girl verbally or in writing or through her representative 2. Declaration and Acceptance. 3. Two witnesses.(Muslims,mature and sane) 4. Mehr (dowry is given by the groom to the bride) 5. The consent or permission of a guardian is preferred but not compulsory. Read more
